Just a curious thing about Mitt Romney's presidential campaign logo.
Over here is a rendition of Mitt Romney's logo as seen on his official campaign website:
Here's my re-creation of the logo in Photoshop, using the same Trajan typeface, and the letter spacing condensed to match the official logo as best as I could:
After looking around the internet a bit I've seen slight variations in the Romney logo, mostly with the letter spacing. But what's consistent in every official rendition of the Romney logo is that the serif on the top part of the E is erased, and that top line connects directly to the Y.
Part of me thinks it must be an intentional move in order to convey some subtle message, but I can't imagine what.
